Our hotel is located a few minutes walk from Babbacombe Downs and the beautiful award winning Oddicombe Beach, providing safe bathing, sailing and boating hire. Babbacombe is known as the Jewel in Torbay's crown and to paraphrase Oscar Wilde, who often stayed in Babbacombe, "Anyone who is tired of Babbacombe must be tired of life". Torquay by night really comes alive. You will be spoilt for choice, whether you are looking for something to eat or drink, or just want to wander around the Harbour and Promenade gazing at the thousands of lights. After a busy day, your individually designed ensuite bedroom provides a haven of peace and comfort. It is equipped with TV and Tea/Coffee making facilities. Just to walk along the Downs with the glorious view is in itself enough to "re-charge the batteries" at any time of year, but on a pure crisp morning ~ it's pure heaven ... Exquisite food and wines are served in our luxuriously decorated dinning room overlooking the garden and swimming pool. Why not spoil yourself with a Devon Cream Tea or simply relax by the pool or in out stylish lounge. We have our own car park with ample level parking. We are ideally situated within a 5 minute level walk from "Babbacombe Model Village", "Bygones" life size Victorian street and collections and St. Marychurch precinct with a variety of character shops for traffic free shopping. Or if it's off the beach then only a short walk will take you to Oddicombe Beach and Cliff Railway. A stroll along the Babbacombe Theatre and Babbacombe Beach. Cary Park with its mature trees, tennis courts, bowling and putting greens and children's playground are just a few minutes level walk away.
